DE QUEEN TEACHERS PREP TO RAISE LITERACY
De Queen Public Schools will continue its commitment to improving our students' literacy skills. This week our teachers particpated in a refresher course on the Science of Reading facilitated by Jill Collins. The presentation included a review of syllable types and a strategy for decoding longer words. Teachers practiced the strategy with their peers and look forward to implementing it with their students this school year. #LeopardFamily #leopardpride
