Saphire Prewitt from Mrs Frachiseur’s fourth grade class is the very first student at De Queen Elementary to have ever mastered and completed ReflexMath and FraxMath. Saphire has now met 100% of her goals in all four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), and has also built a firm foundation in all fraction content. Way to go, Saphire!



Due to hazardous road conditions, De Queen Public Schools will be delaying the start of school to 10 AM. Bus routes in the county will be starting between 8 and 8:30. Bus routes in the city will be starting between 8:45 and 9.

Mrs. Tatum’s third graders explore the element of art texture while making food collages in Art class this week.




The second annual Father Daughter Dance for De Queen Elementary will be held on February 13th in the DHS Cafeteria from 6pm to 8pm. Tickets for a couple (grades 3-5 only) are $25. De Queen Public Schools will return to school on Wednesday, Jan. 17th.
We know it will be extremely cold in the morning, and buses may run a little late. Our bus drivers will take their time at each stop so that children can be kept indoors to stay warm. Please be safe in the morning and we will see you all at school.


Due to icy road conditions, De Queen Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16th.
This school day will be made up on Friday, Feb. 16th.
