It's Atlas Spirit Week, and Thursday is now dubbed "Cap Your Stress! Top It Off with Success" Day! Students flaunted their most outrageous and zany hats, channeling their inner geniuses for those upcoming tests! Go team! And don't forget, Friday is "Rest Before the Test Day"—so relax, throw on those cozy yet stylish and appropriate pajamas, and prepare for a day of lounging before next week's state exams! We can do it!!!! Go DES!!!!!
Our Elementary School Secretary is like a superhero in disguise—she juggles office tasks, wrangles student records, and keeps the communication flowing smoother than a buttered slide! She’s the friendly face at the front office, the master of phone calls, and the wizard of correspondence. Not to mention, she’s the gatekeeper of enrollment and the guardian of attendance records, handling all that top-secret info like a pro. We’re all in awe of her superpowers—our DES students, faculty, and administration salute you, oh mighty Secretary! Thanks for being awesome!

For Atlas Spirit Week, today was Monday, also known as "Knock the Top Off the Test" Day! Students strutted their stuff in their favorite sports gear, ready to tackle those exams like champions! Way to go guys! Tomorrow (Tuesday) is "I'll survive the Test" Day....wear your favorite camo clothing.
Hooray for fun! Mrs. Hanney's 5th graders teamed up with Mrs. Rivas' and Mrs. Klitz's kindergarteners for an epic Easter Egg Hunt. They discovered a mountain of eggs and a treasure trove of goodies!
