October 2 is School Custodian's Day! We want to extend a big THANK YOU to our amazing custodians: Maria Hernandez, Francisca Martinez, Refugio Martinez, Maria Osura, and Mryna Ramirez. You play an essential role in our school community. We truly appreciate all the support you provide for our building and students!

The students at DES are gathering food donations to support the Children's Food Pantry. Each grade will earn a point for every food item they bring in. The grade that racks up the most points by October 11th will score a Halloween-themed pizza party. Check out the flyer below for a list of needed items.

It's all about doubling up on learning and effort! The kids are diving into livestock knowledge and figuring out how to showcase their hard work at the shows. During breaks at these events, they tackle their school assignments. Check out Raylee Hundley, a 4th grader, putting in some serious effort on her math lessons. Way to go, Raylee! #LEOPARDPRIDE
