ELPA TESTING. April 2.

April is The School Library Month. For students to grow into functioning adults, they must have as much access to learnable resources as possible. Books, computers, encyclopedias all provide the information students need to learn and build their intelligence. School librarians teach students how to learn and help teachers drive student success. They work with every student in the school, teaching them to think critically, providing resources and supporting students in school and beyond, while nurturing their creativity.

With heavy hearts, our Leopard Family is saying goodbye to another beloved family member this week. Ruby Lee Vallee graduated from De Queen High School in 1964 and went on to work in many capacities, but her favorite was ISS Paraprofessional for De Queen Elementary School for the last eight years. The Vallee Family has been a driving force behind our Leopard Family for many years. We ask you to join us in sending thoughts and prayers to Joe, Lori, Cooper, and the entire Vallee family.
