DES students who showed 2 years growth on the Star Test in Literacy/Math, achieved 200 points in AR Reading, completed Reflex/Refrax or had an 80% or higher in Math Fluency Assessment were rewarded many ways this year. Yareli Castro from Mrs. Richardson's 4th grade class earned 75 AR points!

During the last month of school the DES 5th grade students learned about graphic design artist who create logos for entrepreneurs in Ms. Lemser’s art class. Students created their own logos and design for a food truck of their own. Pictured below are the contest runner ups and over all winner.
