About Anissa Manasco

About Me

Allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Anissa Manasco. I am an Arkansas Music Educator, employed by the De Queen School District in De Queen, Arkansas. I enjoy teaching General Music to 700+ students from grades 2 through 5 at De Queen Elementary, as well as the 5th grade Razzle Dazzle show choir (DES Singing Ambassadors). I truly have a passion for connecting children with music!

Teaching and Educational Experience

Working as a Music Educator for over 18 years, my experience has led me to teach vocal, instrumental, and general music. I have a BME degree (K-12 Music Education-Vocal) from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.  I am also certified to teach K-12 Instrumental Music.

Leadership/Professional Development

For years, I have been a member of ARKCDA and was lucky enough to have been asked to present during one of their elementary potpourri sessions at the ARKCDA Summer Convention in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was also fortunate enough to have been a guest presenter for a professor and her education class at CCCUA.
