About Beth Jackson

Hello! My name is Beth Jackson, and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade math! This is my 30th year in education and my 13th year at DeQueen. I received my Bachelor's and Master's of Education at Henderson State University. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and have received extensive math training in Cognitive Guided Instruction and literacy training at Lit Lab. I am married to Ken and have two children. Emily is a chemistry teacher at Arkansas High and lives in Texarkana. Aaron attends seminary at Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth and is an intern at Dallas First Baptist.  Cayla-Marie, his wife, is completing an internship in Dietetics at Baylor University.  We have three "granddogs," Russ, a Maltese, Finn, an Australian Shepherd, and Copper, a lovable mutt.
